
Dr. William Pearson is a teacher, composer, and organist. He is and Instructor and the Area Coordinator for Music Theory and Aural Skills at the Diehn School of Music.
Will studied Organ Performance at the Eastman School of Music before transferring to Music Composition at SUNY Purchase for his B.Mus., working with Suzanne Farrin, Huang Ruo, and Du Yun, and then completed a M.Mus and DMA at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign under Erin Gee and Stephen Taylor. His compositions have been performed throughout the United States and abroad, and his short film scores have been featured in Aeon ​Magazine (aeon.co).
